Full Description

Discover the expressive Trencadís mosaic style popularised by Antoni Gaudí in this guided workshop in Barcelona. Instructors will introduce you to the tools, materials and methods used to create this distinctive mosaic art.

Using colourful ceramic pieces, you’ll design your own artwork, choosing from options such as a photo frame, box, animal figure or other shapes. Every step is hands-on and guided, allowing you to experiment with colours and composition.

Younger children work with pre-cut acrylic tiles, while children above the age of 10 may also work with regular ceramic pieces.

After you finish your artwork, the workshop staff will apply the grout to ensure a lasting finish. Your piece will be ready for collection later the same day or the following day if your workshop takes place in the afternoon.

The experience holds BIOSPHERE Certification 2026, reflecting a commitment to responsible tourism and environmental respect.
